650 Afghan refugees are in Pakistani prisons

Abdul Jabbar Takhari, one diplomat of the Afghan consulate in Karachi, announced that there are still 650 Afghan refugees imprisoned in Pakistan who must be released.

“We called for the government of Pakistan to release the Afghan refugees from the prisons,” Takhari added.

Abdul Jabbar Takhari continued that 650 refugees, including women and children, are in Pakistani prisons, and some are sick. We have asked the government of Islamabad to release these asylum seekers.
