Ariana News: The Taliban embassy in Islamabad has reported that hundreds of Afghan immigrants are imprisoned in Pakistan.
Ahmad Shakib, the Charge de Affair of the Afghan embassy in Islamabad, said in a series of tweets that Pakistani authorities have repeatedly promised to deal with the cases of migrants, but a large number of them are still in prison.
“Several imprisoned immigrants, including women, children, the elderly, and the sick, are expected to be released soon.” The Taliban embassy in Pakistan said.
Even though three days ago, the Secretary General of Amnesty International, in a letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, expressed his concern about the situation of Afghan refugees in that country.
