The United Nations Assistance Mission in Kabul announced that it received a request form the Central organization to put Hekmatyar on Trail for his crimes.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) today announced that the Central organization from New York sent a letter calling to bring Gulbuddin Hekmatyar the current leader of the Hezb-e Islami political party to trial for the crimes he has committed.

Tadamichi Yamamoto the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan affirmed the issue noting that the any Afghan civilian victim of cruelty and oppression should not be deprived of judicial rights.

The United Nations Assistance Mission has still not decided on how to bring the UN call into consideration and implementation.

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar who has been twice served as Prime Minister of Afghanistan lately been in the UN terror blacklist but removed when reached peace with Afghanistan government.

Hekmatyar  is known as the “Butcher of Kabul” in Afghanistan and several times has been accused of supporting ISIS terrorist group.
