Why Is iPhone 15 Overheating? Apple Addresses the Concern

Apple has acknowledged the factors behind the overheating problem experienced by some iPhone 15 users.

According to Reuters, Apple has disclosed that it has identified several issues that may lead to performance issues in the new iPhones. One of the culprits is a bug found in the iOS 17 software, which will be addressed in a forthcoming update.

In response to complaints about excessive heat generation in the new phones, Apple explained that the device may experience increased heat during the initial days “after device startup or recovery due to heightened background activity.”

Apple also highlighted another issue linked to recent updates of third-party applications, which can lead to system overload.
