According to this report, from July 16 to July 19 this year, more than sixty women and girls were arrested by the Taliban on charges of failing to adhere to the hijab. The findings of this report, prepared by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), show that the detained women spent from several hours to one night in Taliban custody.<\/p>\n
