Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, has warned that the Taliban continue to maintain ties with regional terrorist groups, posing a threat to Afghanistan, the region, and the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an interview with the Hudson Institute, Ahmad Massoud emphasized that the Taliban have failed to fulfill their promises of establishing a responsible government and have maintained close relations with regional terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n

He warned that the presence and coordination of terrorist groups in Afghanistan pose a serious threat to regional and global security.<\/p>\n

The National Resistance Front and Afghanistan\u2019s Future<\/h2>\n

Massoud stated that with the support of the people and the international community, the National Resistance Front can contribute to lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

He accused the Taliban of violating their international commitments by restricting people’s freedoms and continuing their oppressive policies.<\/p>\n

Afghanistan\u2019s Situation After the Fall of the Republic<\/h2>\n

The leader of the National Resistance Front stressed that since the fall of the Republic in 2021, the Afghan people have resisted the Taliban in various ways, and the National Resistance Front remains one of the most significant opposition forces.<\/p>\n
