Kashif Anwar, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently met with a delegation from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Khanjan Alkozi, in Lahore, Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the meeting, Anwar emphasized the need for Islamabad and Kabul to take joint and decisive actions to enhance trade relations between Afghan and Pakistani businesses.<\/p>\n

Currently, the bilateral trade volume between Afghanistan and Pakistan stands at $522 million. Anwar pointed out that establishing banking channels between the two countries could significantly boost this figure.<\/p>\n

He also noted potential growth in the export of carpets, rice, and machinery parts from Lahore to Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
