The Taliban’s Prisons Administration officials have disclosed that there are currently 19,000 inmates incarcerated across Afghanistan. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Habibullah Badr, the Military Deputy of the Prisons Affairs Administration, revealed that this figure includes 800 women who are detained for various crimes throughout the country.<\/p>\n

Badr, serving in a key role within the Prisons Affairs Directorate, emphasized that Afghanistan does not operate any private prisons, nor will it permit the establishment of such facilities.<\/p>\n
