NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen says that NATO members could have remained in Afghanistan with small forces to avoid the country’s catastrophic collapse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking at the Democracy Summit in Copenhagen, Mr Rasmussen said he deeply regretted the disastrous withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
