Thomas Nicholson has said that he agrees with the words of the Russian president that the return of the civil war in Afghanistan is not in the interest of Central Asia.<\/p>\n

Thomas Nicholson, the European Union’s special representative for Afghanistan, says that he has written on Twitter that, for once, he agrees with Russian President Vladimir Putin that a return to civil war in Afghanistan is not in the interest of Central Asia.<\/p>\n

Nicholson says, “I also strongly believe that this is not in the interest of the Afghan people.”<\/p>\n

At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Afghanistan is one of the most severe challenges for the region’s security, the Asian Interaction and Confidence Building Conference, known as “SICA”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
