Ariana News Agency: The Red Cross said in a statement that the Afghan people need more help from the international community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe head of the Red Cross mission in Afghanistan, Iowa Filon, warned of the deepening economic crisis and its devastating impact on millions.<\/p>\n

The Red Cross said in a statement that the Afghan people need more help from the international community.<\/p>\n

“On the streets of Kabul, I see more people selling their personal belongings to buy food,” the statement quoted Ilva Filon as saying. “The economic crisis is deepening, which will have a devastating effect on millions of Afghans.”<\/p>\n

The Child Protection Fund and other international organizations have previously warned of deteriorating economic conditions in Afghanistan.
\nInternational organizations emphasize that this year more than 90% of the Afghan people will need foreign aid.<\/p>\n
