Ariana News Agency: The head of Afghanistan’s Chamber of Mines and Industries announced the closure of half of the country’s factories and production facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mohammad Karim Azimi, head of the Afghan Chamber of Mines and Industries, blamed shortages of raw materials, a lack of a market, banking system restrictions, and power outages.<\/p>\n

According to Azimi, the economic crisis in Afghanistan has severely affected the manufacturing sector and the closure of factories has left hundreds of people unemployed in the country.<\/p>\n

The head of Afghanistan’s Chamber of Mines and Industries announced last month that 5,000 factories in the country were facing severe shortages of raw materials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
