Increase in Unidentified Drone Flights Over Kabul

A significant number of residents in Kabul and other provinces of Afghanistan have reported sightings of unidentified drone flights in recent days. This development has raised concerns among the populace.

Taliban Sources Confirm Drone Presence

Some sources close to the Taliban have acknowledged the presence of drones patrolling the skies above Kabul. However, detailed information regarding the ownership and the country of origin of these drones remains undisclosed.

Claims of Drones Entering from Pakistan

Taliban officials have repeatedly asserted that these drones are entering Afghan airspace from Pakistan. These statements come at a time when relations between Kabul and Islamabad have been strained in recent years.

Security Challenges from Drone Flights

The flights of unidentified drones could pose new security challenges for Kabul. Pakistan has accused the Taliban multiple times of allowing members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan to operate from Afghan territory. The Taliban government has rejected these allegations, emphasizing that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against other countries.

In recent months, there have been numerous reports regarding unidentified drone flights in various regions of Afghanistan, increasing apprehensions about safety. Clarifying the situation of these drones and their flight objectives could contribute to security and stability in the country.
